Role Overview

Oklahoma Baptist University is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty appointments, including Doctoral Capstone Mentors in their new hybrid Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program. This 2-year accelerated OTD program combines online and on-campus teaching, which allows adjunct faculty to perform work remotely with only lab-based courses requiring travel to the OBU campus in Shawnee, OK at various times throughout the year.

What You Will Do

Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for participating in the development of new courses to be delivered in a hybrid format, creating and conducting in-person lab immersions and experiential learning opportunities for students in alignment with the program’s curriculum design.

The ideal candidate for the Adjunct Faculty position must meet or exceed the following qualifications: Occupational therapy degree (MOT, MSOT, etc.) from an ACOTE accredited program, current, valid non-restricted occupational therapy license, and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience as an occupational therapy practitioner.

Requirements
