Role OverviewThe Administrative Analyst 2 will support grant activities related to the five core grant phases: Planning, Application, Award, Management/Administration and Closeout. The role will involve assisting with grant research and planning activities, participating in grant writing and grant applications, and coordinating grant administration and management activities.
What You Will Do
Duties will include but are not limited to: assisting with grant research and planning activities, participating in grant writing and grant applications, coordinating grant administration and management activities, conducting grant applications and grant recipient workshops, and examining and analyzing risks and internal controls.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Preference may be given to candidates with grant auditing, grant management, and grant administration experience, as well as a background in emergency services. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and evaluative skills, with the ability to make accurate and informed decisions.
Requirements
- Thirty (30) semester-hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience.
- Six (6) years of professional experience in work involving fiscal analyses and evaluation, budgeting, and management operations in government, business, and/or a management consulting firm, including or supplemented by twenty-one (21) semester hour credits in any combination of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance courses.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by twenty-one (21) semester-hour credits in any combination of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance courses; and two (2) years of the above-mentioned professional experience.
- Possession of a master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance; and one (1) year of the above-mentioned professional experience.
- Possession of a doctorate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance.
