Job Description
The Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Governmental Relations Department. The position involves providing support to the team with core activities and administrative support to the Associate Executive Director and staff.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of the Illinois legislative process
  • Five years related administrative work experience
  • Proficiency in word processing and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use Illinois General Assembly, Illinois Secretary of State, and Illinois State Board of Elections websites
  • Basic knowledge of how to work with databases, charts, and graphs
