Job Description
Performs receptionist, secretarial, and operational duties for Physician Office Practice. Initiates implementation of processes and serves as liaison between patient, staff, and physician.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Previous experience doing similar duties
  • Medical office training or equivalent of two years physician's practice experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and duties with deadlines
  • Ability to work with multi-line phone and computer systems accurately and efficiently
  • Effective customer service and relationship building skills with patients, visitors and staff; ability to respect dignity of all patients and follow HIPAA rules without breaches in confidentiality
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
