Role Overview

National Salvage & Service Corporation is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Tie Grinding Facility in Selma, Alabama. The role involves all office duties, including record keeping, office organization, and acting as a liaison between customers, employees, and contractors.

What You Will Do

Collect and review employee payroll data, track inventory, maintain regular communication with corporate headquarters, create and disburse reports, and handle administrative functions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Previous experience in an administrative position and/or bookkeeping is required, and preferred experience in the contractor and construction industry. Excellent written and verbal communication are a must as well as proficiency in Excel and Word.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative position and/or bookkeeping
  • Three to five years' administrative experience
  • Proficient with computers and office equipment including Microsoft Word and Excel as well as copy/fax machines
