Role OverviewThe Administrative Assistant provides clerical support for the Appeal Tribunal across the state. The role involves performing entry-level administrative support work under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
What You Will Do
The Administrative Assistant performs tasks such as processing outgoing mail, using TWC provided equipment and systems to research, update records, create correspondence, or expedite cases for scheduling, responding to internal and external inquiries, and communicating effectively with the public, staff, and all internal customers.

You qualify with six months of full-time experience in administrative support functions and office practices and procedures, or clerical administration and business management practices, such as preparation, maintenance, and control of forms, records, and reports.
Requirements
- Six months of full-time experience in administrative support functions and office practices and procedures
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications
- Acceptance into a TWC Internship, TWC Apprenticeship, or current participation in a TWC approved high school career and technical education program
