Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking an Administrative Professional 1 to assume the duties and responsibilities of an Administrative Professional 1 in Franklin County. The position is located in the Education department and requires considerable knowledge of clerical functions and office procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and typing correspondence and reports, initiating and signing routine letters, gathering and interpreting data, and maintaining various student records.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of this position include preparing and typing agendas and reports, typing monthly reports for the education department, preparing education records and progress of inmate students, and maintaining necessary student records. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring equipment usage and budgetary constraints, designing and establishing record-keeping systems, and attending meetings, trainings, and conferences.

Requirements
- 1 year of training or 1 year of experience in secretarial science or business office applications
