Role OverviewProvides primary administrative support for the office of the Director of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy, serving as secretary and administrative staff for the Massachusetts Fire Training Council. Develops a comprehensive knowledge of the academy's business activities and provides administrative support to the Director, Deputy Directors, and management team.
What You Will Do
Assists in the production and distribution of monthly reports, coordinates meetings, prepares agendas and correspondence, and performs special projects as requested by the Director. Attends departmental and training council meetings, records and distributes minutes, and analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in clerical or secretarial work, with a high school degree or equivalent. Strong organizational and communication skills are required, with the ability to work independently on special projects.
Requirements

- Associate's degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience
