Job Description
The Administrative Specialist is the glue that holds the office together! The role provides administrative, clerical, and receptionist support to various departments, working closely with the Office or Business Manager to ensure office efficiency and effectiveness. The role includes responsibilities such as handling Proof of Performance reports, drafting contracts, monitoring aged trial balances, and assisting with Human Resources-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Skill in speaking with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
  • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take great pride in professionalism, responsibility, and being proactive
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to use a fax machine, copiers, scanners, and binding machines
  • High school diploma or Equivalent required
  • Associate's degree and/or bachelor’s degree (in Business, Marketing, or another related field) preferred
  • 2 years of office experience is required
  • A driver’s license is preferred
