Job Description
The NYC Department Housing Preservation & Development (HPD) is seeking an Administrative Support/Community Coordinator to perform various administrative functions in the Division of Code Enforcement (DCE). The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing documents, answering phones, communicating with the public, and providing assistance to staff. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in PC software applications, and experience in community work or community centered activities.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Two years of experience in community work or community centered activities
  • Proficiency in PC software applications, such as Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred)
