Role Overview

The Administrator - Desk Side Services, AMT Asset Management Software will be responsible for managing hardware and software inventory, collaborating with IT vendors and procurement, and interacting with IT desktop support personnel. The role requires 5-7 years of experience in IT and/or overall inventory management, with a strong focus on hardware inventory management, peripheral inventory management, and basic hardware knowledge of Dell laptops and desktops.

What You Will Do

The Administrator will be responsible for facilitating the processing of hardware and software requests, interacting with IT desktop support personnel, and managing their time and priorities. They will also be responsible for working with IT vendors, technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards, and experience with working in Atlassian JIRA and Maximo application.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a warehouse with computers and hand held scanners
  • 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft products
  • Proficient in working with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • MS Certifications are a plus
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware and Apple IOS devices a plus
  • Working with IT vendors, technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
