Role Overview

The Fiber Technician will perform various tasks such as cabling, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables. The role requires 100% travel within the USA and involves working at heights, off a ladder, and in confined spaces. The Fiber Technician must be self-motivated, positive, and professional, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What You Will Do

The Fiber Technician will perform tasks such as installing racks, patch panels, and fiber optic hardware, as well as testing and troubleshooting fiber optic cables. The role also involves calculating end-to-end loss budgets and completing paperwork accurately and on time.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The Fiber Technician must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent, be proficient in terminating all connector types, and have experience in testing and troubleshooting MMF and SMF systems. The role requires a strong understanding of fiber optic technology and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
