Role Overview

The Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development is seeking a full-time Grant Manager PRO Housing. The role involves managing and coordinating the Department's activities under the HUD PRO Housing FY24 grant award. This position serves as the Department's facilitator of all activities described in the HUD-approved Action Plan for use of grant funds.

What You Will Do

The Grant Manager will oversee a competitive subgrant program, establish quality control standards, and coordinate required reporting. They will engage directly with HUD staff, other state agencies, and local jurisdictions across the State of Maryland.

The ideal candidate will have six years of administrative staff or professional work experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and grant or technical writing experience.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
  • Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience

  • Experience managing programs or budgets over $100,000
  • Experience working within local, state, or federal government
