Role OverviewJoin our team in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment within the Division of Enrollment Management at UW-Madison. We are admissions professionals dedicated to recruiting, admitting, and enrolling the next generation of UW-Madison undergraduate students. The Admissions Counselor for Transfer Case Management provides processing support and quality customer service to our growing number of undergraduate applications from domestic and international transfer students. The Admissions Counselor for First-Year Domestic students participates in the holistic application review of a robust and talented applicant pool of transfer/first-year domestic students.
What You Will Do
Conduct holistic application review for transfer/first-year domestic applicants, learn and communicate undergraduate admissions policies, respond to questions via email, phone, in-person, or during virtual interactions with students, counselors, and guests. Participate in admissions processes and committees, as assigned, and participate in on- and off-campus recruitment travel and events, as needed.

Requirements
- Proven experience working with individuals of various identities and backgrounds
- Strong administrative skills that are transferable to application review and project management
- Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Capability to utilize technology including office software applications, database systems, CRM systems, etc.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume office
- Strong oral and written communication skills including significant public speaking experience and excellent customer service skills
