Role OverviewAs an Admissions Counselor, you will be responsible for facilitating admissions, clinical intake assessments, and utilization review processes to ensure the most appropriate level of care for patients. You will work with patients and families to develop therapeutic relationships and communicate benefit eligibility. You will also collaborate with medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate recommendations regarding pending referrals.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include responding to inquiries about the facility, performing benefit eligibility, coordinating admission and transfer, maintaining knowledge of milieu management, communicating with patients and families, and preparing and maintaining medical record documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a social services field

- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
