Job Description
The Admissions Social Worker provides full-performance level social work services to patients in a state psychiatric hospital, including pre-admission screening, admission assessments, and interventions. This position involves working with multidisciplinary treatment teams, families, and community psychiatric service providers. The Admissions Social Worker supports the mission of the organization through active participation in clinical efforts to provide treatment in a recovery-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience rendering clinical social work services in a health care or treatment setting
  • Determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners under the licensing requirements for Social Workers
  • Licensed as a Certified Social Worker or Certified Social Worker, Clinical by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners
