Role OverviewIn support of ORU’s aggressive growth goals, this position is responsible to recruit students to ORU from a specialized territory assignment and serve as team leader in recruitment efforts for this specific territory. The Admissions Specialist will travel on behalf of the University to connect with prospective students, generate new leads, and cultivate relationships with student influencers.
What You Will Do
The Admissions Specialist will serve as primary recruiter for a specialized territory assignment, generate and cultivate leads to apply to the University, and guide admitted students through steps related to their matriculation. They will also gather previous years’ data to assess successful events and methods, identify influences and feeder schools and churches, etc.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in reaching enrollment territory goals or sales conversion in another industry, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to articulate information well, both verbally and in written form.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (ORU graduate preferred)
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and have an excellent driving record
- Must have at least one year experience on the New Student Relations team or other relevant experience
- Must be computer literate to include: Word, Excel and Power Point
- Bi-lingual, Spanish-speaker preferred
