Role OverviewThe Adult Basic Education/GED Teacher will develop lesson plans, provide instruction, and administer tests to inmates in the Adult Basic Education/General Education Development program. The teacher will also maintain discipline and security of the instructional area, attend meetings, and prepare records and reports. The teacher will perform other education-related duties as requested by education administrators.

Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will possess a Baccalaureate degree, an Adult Educator four-year permit, and/or be eligible to receive a four-year permit from the Ohio Department of Education. The candidate will also have a current Teacher Certificate appropriate for the assigned grade level.
