Job Description
The Adult Recovery Peer Specialist provides consultation and mentorship to peers at the Adult Residential Recovery (ARR) program, promoting stability in recovery and supporting individuals in transitioning back into their communities. A Peer Specialist is someone who has been a consumer of substance use or substance use and mental health services and translates recovery methods to residents as a coach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • COPA (peer certification) preferred
  • Personal history as consumer of substance use services
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Current and unrestricted Driver’s license and with acceptable motor vehicle record
