Role OverviewThe Advanced Practice Provider Float at Prevea is an advanced practice nurse (NP) or physician assistant (PA) prepared to deliver health care services to patients, families and groups emphasizing the promotion of health and prevention of disease under direct supervision and responsibility of physicians.
What You Will Do
Provides assessment, evaluation, and management to patients with minor, acute, chronic, & episodic illness & injuries. Collaborates with patients to review their health background and determine physiological, emotional, and environmental needs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires 1-3 years work experience in a clinical setting within a health care organization. Must possess either the licenses/certification details of a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant.
Requirements
- Graduate of a master's level nurse practitioner program OR graduate from an accredited physician assistant program
- 1-3 years work experience in a clinical setting within a health care organization
