Role OverviewJoin Loka, a globally distributed tech consultancy, as an Advanced Backend Engineer to design and implement high-performing, reliable, and secure backend applications. Work entirely remotely with a team of over 100 certified specialists, technical experts, and PhDs.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and implement backend components, contribute to architectural trade-offs, and maintain effective test suites. Work with technical leads and clients to gather requirements and provide updates on deliverables.

Requirements
- 3+ years Backend development
- Fluent in Python or NodeJs (Typescript)
- Strong CS foundation
- Understanding of API/Web communication protocols (openapi, grpc, etc)
- Understand concurrency concepts in APIs/Web
- Understand cloud services and landscape
- Understand traditional and serverless architectures
- Capable of working container-first
