Role OverviewThe Advanced Billing Associate is responsible for preparing and processing accurate and compliant invoices for customers, ensuring timely billing and payment in accordance with company policies and procedures, while maintaining detailed financial records and providing support for billing inquiries.
What You Will Do
Prepare a minimum of 150 basic Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), and commercial invoices per month, accurately and compliantly supporting revenue, EBIT, and cash goals. Follow all billing policies and procedures to support successful internal and external audits and maintain billing information in financial systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of accounting processes and practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, accounting software applications, Hyperion Essbase, and Oracle
- Basic understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, DCAA, DCMA, Department of Defense requirements, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
