Job Description
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will lead and oversee multiple projects on Thermal BU, focused on Ironton, OH Operations. The role will be responsible for product transfers, new product introduction programs, process improvements, and capital projects to support growth for the target sites and the standardization of manufacturing processes across Vertiv plants.

Requirements

  • Work closely with Line of Business Leaders to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned to Product Roadmaps.
  • Responsible for End of Line Testing Equipment, Parameters, scripts and Capex associated.
  • Lead, Develop and implement manufacturing plans for assigned new products according to NPDI program.
  • Lead and Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.
  • Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
  • Identify, justify, pilot, and commission Advanced Manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices.
  • Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.
  • Responsible for the execution of Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and deliverables of NPDI Process.
  • Leader for Manufacturing Prototype builds along with the local operation team to achieve 2 weeks LT
  • Accountable and Supportive Role for Engineering Prototype builds with Design Engineering
  • Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.
  • Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.
