Job Description
Works under supervision of Pharmacy Technician Coordinator, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor or Pharmacy Manager. Performs advanced pharmacy technician responsibilities, including inventory management, IV admixture, quality assurance unit inspection, and covering weekend and operational needs of all infusion pharmacies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • 2 years in area of advanced pharmacy technician concentration
  • TBSP) REG PHARMACY TECNICIAN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Registered Technician
  • PHARM INT) PHARMACY INTERN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Pharmacist intern
  • STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE required in Sterile & Hazardous Compounding and Investigational Drug Services only
  • BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
