Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician to work in Infusion Services. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician and 2 years in an area of advanced pharmacy technician concentration. Responsibilities include performing job responsibilities in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, coordinating daily workflow, and providing leadership to other technicians.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • 2 years in area of advanced pharmacy technician concentration
  • TSBP) REG PHARMACY TECNICIAN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Registered Technician
  • (PHARM INT) PHARMACY INTERN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Pharmacist intern
  • STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
