Job Description
Advanced Pharmacy Technician, Infusion Services. Works under supervision of Pharmacy Technician Coordinator, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor or Pharmacy Manager. Central pharmacy operation, inventory management, IV admixture of both hazardous and non-hazardous medication, Pyxis fill/refill, quality assurance unit inspection.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • 2 years in area of advanced pharmacy technician concentration
  • TBPS) REG PHARMACY TECNICIAN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Registered Technician
  • (PHARM INT) PHARMACY INTERN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Pharmacist intern
  • (STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
