Job Description
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to manage a distinct patient population and perform outpatient and inpatient care. Requirements

  • Perform and document a complete history and physical examination for acute and complex chronically ill patients
  • Order and collect data using appropriate assessment techniques and diagnostic procedures
  • Assess risks associated with the care of acute and complex chronically ill patients
  • Coordinates daily clinic schedule with attending physician team
  • Manages diagnostic tests through ordering and interpretation
  • Implements and modifies plan of care
  • Maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Documents patient progress via daily progress note, transfer, and discharge summary
