Job Description
Under supervision, assists with diagnosing and treating patients in the division of Cardiovascular Medicine undergoing Chemotherapy treatments. Performs professional duties and technical procedures to provide health care services. Makes initial diagnosis and order appropriate tests and treatment.
Requirements
Master of Science degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse license and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Graduation from a Physician Assistant Training Program approved by the Board of Physician Quality Assurance
Registered and currently recorded with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses and certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
DEA and CDS eligible
CPR required
BLS required
ACLS and/or other relevant certifications as required by the department
