Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school or as grandfathered by NJ Law
- Advance Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Jersey
- CDS, DEA, and Buprenorphine Waiver
- 1 year experience in addiction
- Ability to influence individuals toward desired behaviors and results
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge
- Capable of expanding knowledge or skill enhancement
- Ability to engage in conversation to clearly understand others messages
- Ability to express oneself clearly when presenting ideas or concerns
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship
- Demonstrates knowledge of health related issues regarding addiction, mental health, detoxification, chronic diseases, communicable and infectious diseases and primary care
- Knowledge of medication administration, potential interactions
- Capable of adapting to changing environments, policies or administrative procedures
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining state licensure for APN in state of NJ, Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Buprenorphine Waiver
- Maintain and obtain Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Continuing Medical Education (CMEs) credits for licensure as required by state and federal guidelines
