Role OverviewThe Advanced Practice Nurse provides high quality, cost-effective patient care that supports established specialty practice objectives and strategic organizational goals. They establish preventive measures, diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders in a competent manner. The Advanced Practice Nurse works collaboratively with physician leaders, administration and staff to improve clinical outcomes.
What You Will Do
The Advanced Practice Nurse will diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders, manage and utilize resources optimally, and participate in quality improvement efforts organization-wide. They will also contribute towards the organization's educational programs and teaching activities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey, and certification within the area of specialty. They will also have a minimum of 2 years experience in the field of specialty as a RN in the State of New Jersey.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
- Certification within area of specialty
- Minimum 2 years experience in field of specialty as RN in State of New Jersey
- ACLS certification
- BLSHCP certification
