Job Description
The Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cellular Therapy and Blood Cancers Inpatient clinic. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work in a highly specialized, multidisciplinary team, managing patients with hematologic malignancies and performing procedures such as LPs and bone marrow biopsies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing
  • Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (CPNP-AC) by Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
