Job Description
This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work in the Community Oncology Moncrief clinic, seeing surveillance patients and providing cross coverage for medical oncology. The APP will also cover PIA (provider in attendance) role for patients to receive chemotherapy on site.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of hematology or oncology and/or both, chemotherapy and infusion experience preferred
  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program
  • Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Acute Care Certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
