Job Description
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Critical Care Flex Team will provide services in various ICUs and related high-acuity inpatient services at Clements University Hospital. The APP will be cross-trained to maintain competency in the variety of critical care settings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program
  • Acute Care Certification Required
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross based on the UT Southwestern policy for Advanced Practice Providers
