Job Description
Join UT Southwestern on our mission to educate, discover, and heal. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Pediatric Epilepsy will manage both outpatient clinic visits and inpatient consults, including coverage of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, with responsibilities such as patient education, diagnostic review, and neuromodulation device interrogation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, or a Master's degree or higher in a Physician Assistant program
  • Licensure as a Pediatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (CPNP-AC) or certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • 1 year of pediatric or neurology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, or new grad with previous neurology and admit experience
  • Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization consistent with clinical practice area and patient population
