Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing or Higher degree and Documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program and Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization
  • Advanced Practice RN (CPNP-AC) by Texas State Board of Nursing upon hire and authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
  • National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and certified licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board (PA-C) upon hire
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
