Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide on-site care for patients admitted to the Texas Behavioral Health Center. The Advanced Practice Provider will play a key role in evaluating and managing patients' psychiatric and behavioral health needs, conducting comprehensive assessments, and coordinating care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing
  • Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
