Job Description
We are looking for an Advanced Step Apprentice/Journeyman Lineman to join our team at Xcel Energy in Ironwood, MI. The job involves installation, maintenance, and removal of overhead and underground distribution conductors and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Technical School Lineman degree is preferred
  • Must presently be a Fifth Step Apprentice Lineman or higher
  • Must have good communication and teamwork skills
  • Requires participation in after-hour emergency callouts
  • Must be committed to working safely and compliance with all company safety rules
  • Must reside within a 20-mile radius of the assigned Service Center
  • Must meet driver qualification requirements
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
