Job Description
Under limited supervision, review permit applications and complete special projects. Perform engineering calculations and prepare accurate technical reports. Participate in public hearings and attend meetings.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Ocean, Coastal, Bio-Resource, Sanitary, Industrial, Agricultural or Mining Engineering, or other field of engineering related to the environment.
  • Two (2) years of professional experience in environmental engineering work.
  • Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
