Role OverviewThe Aerial Rental Technician is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on rental equipment to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner. They must maintain advanced working knowledge of boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, engine, compressor, pumps, and light construction equipment. The technician will troubleshoot systems for errors, complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics, and work safely following all Riggs safety policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
The technician will remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision. They will use hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, instruments, and laptops. The technician must understand basic manuals, schematics, and parts books and installation instructions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training. They must be able to read and interpret documents, apply common sense understanding, and deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
