Role OverviewChromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company that develops, manufactures, and repairs critical turbine components for aircraft engines and gas turbines. As an Aerospace Repair Inspector B, you will be responsible for inspecting blades and vanes, utilizing inspection and test equipment, and communicating product/process/documentation discrepancies to aid continuous improvement efforts.
What You Will Do
Inspect blades and vanes, complete incoming and final inspections, utilize inspection and test equipment, perform NDT inspections, and communicate product/process/documentation discrepancies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a proven ability to take measurements, previous experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection, and certification of visual acuity to NAS-410. You will work in a production floor environment with moderate cold and heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
Requirements
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Proven ability to take measurements
- Previous experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection
- Certification of visual acuity to NAS-410
