Role OverviewThe After School Group Leader is responsible for the overall safety, development, management, organization, and planning of their group. This includes integrated educational projects, recreation, arts, and crafts, and group building activities. The Group Leader will work with youth from a variety of backgrounds, providing high-quality services while working from a strength-based, youth and family development, and trauma-informed perspective. The Group Leader will supervise support staff assigned to their group and track and support participant development and growth areas.
What You Will Do
The Group Leader will engage participants in after-school activities, role model appropriate behavior, ensure safety, and develop positive relationships with participants, colleagues, and school/center personnel. They will also plan and prepare culminating events, assist with organizing parent family culminating engagement events, and maintain all required records for their group.

Experience building a camp culture and contributing a talent or experience in arts, music, crafts, etc. are a plus.
