Role OverviewThe After School Site Director is responsible for the administration and operation of one after school program/one day camp. The Site Director must meet all requirements to be on campus issued by federal, state, county, and city government authorities.
What You Will Do
Deliver high-quality, safe, educational YMCA youth programming in a nurturing environment. Develop and maintain yearly budgets and establish positive relationships with program participants, their families, and prospective members.

Requirements
- AA in Child Development, 3 semester (4.5 quarter) units in Admin and 2 years teaching experience
- BA in Child Development, 3 semester (4.5 quarter) units in Admin and 1 year teaching
- Child Development Credential or Permit
- AA or Bachelor's Degree, 3 semester (4.5 quarter) units in Admin and 3 semester (4.5 quarter) units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or School Age Courses
- 48 semester college units required or successful completion of District approved parallel requirements plan for staff who do not hold 48 semester units
- 1 year experience
- Possess Health and Safety certificate (includes Pediatric First Aid and CPR)
- Complete YMCA child abuse prevention and injury and illness prevention training within 30 days of hire
- Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by law (from DOJ/CACI and FBI) prior to working with children and on site
- Minimum age of 21
