Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and systems-oriented Aftercare Youth Facilitator to lead our extended day programs for middle school-aged solutionists. Middle school is a unique developmental window. Our program departs from traditional "babysitting" to offer a highly structured, productive environment.
What You Will Do
You will maintain consistent routines, assist solutionists with academic homework, facilitate engaging, structured recreational activities, and ensure a safe, positive environment that aligns with our campus-wide operational standards.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will employ positive behavior intervention strategies to maintain order, respect, and focus, keeping in line with school-wide expectations. You will also follow strict daily check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures, and ensure all security policies are actively met.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience working with middle school-aged youth (grades 5–8) in a school, camp, after-school, or recreational setting.
- Strong comfort level following strict organizational checklists, guidelines, and digital operational platforms.
- A stellar track record of punctuality.
- Ability to communicate professionally and warmly with parents, school administrators, and team members.
- Pass a comprehensive criminal background check and fingerprinting clearance.
- First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain certification within the first 30 days of hire)
