Role OverviewAs an Afterhours and Weekend Carrier Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and developing strong business relationships with service providers to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction. You will work within Redwood Multimodal, one of our entities, and be responsible for tracking load life cycles, communicating freight updates, and negotiating freight rates. You will also provide service and support to motor carriers to build the business relationship.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include tracking load life cycles, communicating freight updates, negotiating freight rates, coordinating available customer freight with available motor carrier equipment, and maintaining a file of all open truck shipments and records of trailers in assigned areas.
