Job Description
We are hiring driven and compassionate educators to lead our afterschool sites for the 2025–2026 school year. As Site Director, you'll create a safe, encouraging space where students build literacy and math skills, develop social-emotional confidence, and grow alongside volunteer mentors.

Requirements

  • Lead afterschool academic sessions focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with LaAmistad's Academic Director to plan and adapt learning activities based on individual student needs.
  • Monitor and report student progress using assessments, report cards, and school-provided data.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, schools, volunteers, and program leadership regarding student development and site updates.
  • Train, supervise, and support volunteer tutors and program assistants.
  • Maintain site safety by enforcing emergency protocols and child protection policies.
  • Foster strong partnerships with school staff and host site representatives.
  • Share weekly updates via a digital newsletter with stakeholders.
  • Manage site-level administrative tasks, including timesheet approvals for staff.
