Role Overview

The selected candidate will work as an Attorney Agency III in the New York City Police Department's Police Action Litigation Section, assisting in the defense of litigation against the City, the Police Department, and individual members of the service. The candidate will manage and coordinate electronic discovery matters, coordinate and respond to subpoenas, and collaborate with NYPD attorneys and outside counsel to develop efficient eDiscovery workflows.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar
  • Six months of satisfactory service as an Agency Attorney Interne (30086)
  • One year of experience at Assignment Level I or two years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar
  • Two years of experience in Assignment Levels I and/or II or three years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar
