Job Description
The New York City Police Department's Legal Training Unit provides general and personalized training to uniformed members of the service on topics essential to crime fighting strategies. The Agency Attorney will represent the Department in a variety of legal matters and day-to-day duties will vary based on assignment.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar
  • Six months of satisfactory service as an Agency Attorney Interne
  • Membership in the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of employment
