Job Description
The Agency Attorney will represent the Department in a variety of legal matters and day-to-day duties will vary based on assignment, including conducting specialized and personalized training to uniformed members of the service on critical criminal procedure topics and providing legal advice to Department personnel on active criminal matters and investigations.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar
  • Six months of satisfactory service as an Agency Attorney Interne (30086)
  • Incumbents must remain Members of the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of this employment
