Role OverviewWärtsilä Energy is looking for an Agreement Manager to join our Engine Power Plant Lifecycle Management team and lead the delivery of a new type of long-term Service Agreement in Ohio. The Agreement Manager will take ownership of the overall commercial, operational, and customer performance of the agreement, working closely with the customer, our site operations team, and Wärtsilä's technical and commercial experts. This is an opportunity for an experienced energy professional who enjoys being close to the customer, understands power generation operations, and knows how to turn technical performance into measurable business value.
What You Will Do
As Agreement Manager, you will serve as the primary Wärtsilä contact and trusted advisor for the customer throughout the agreement lifecycle. You will lead the overall commercial, financial, operational, and technical performance of the agreement, work closely with customer and Wärtsilä operations teams to monitor plant performance, and conduct regular customer and service performance reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical or scientific discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience managing long-term service agreements, performance-based contracts, customer accounts, or similar commercial responsibilities within power generation, energy, or the maritime industry
- Experience working with performance guarantees, contractual KPIs, service agreements, and operational performance
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to manage contract performance, financial outcomes, risks, and business opportunities
- Ability to translate technical and operational information into meaningful business value for customers
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
