Role OverviewThis is a full-time, benefit-eligible position that will work under the direction of the Ag Experiment Station Livestock Supervisor to conduct general ruminant livestock production practices, coordinate deliveries, transport feed products and manure, and maintain adequate livestock records.
What You Will Do
The successful applicant will assist in farm responsibilities, including feeding, cleaning, vaccinating, parturition, and other livestock production practices. They will also operate agricultural equipment, including tractors, hay and forage equipment, front end loaders, and assorted farm implements.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in animal production, be able to work evenings and weekends as needed, and have a valid driver's license. They will also be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if required.
